Sorry for the belated update. I was ill for too long in late January,
and then trying to catch up at work.

I added Red-winged Blackbird, one female, (#100) on Monday, 01/21/08,
MLK Day on the path to the boardwalk at Spring Valley Wildlife Area.

On Wednesday, 01/23/08, I got sick and was bedridden, Thursday, Friday,
Saturday and half of Sunday with heavy chest congestion. Late on Sunday
afternoon, 01/27/08, I got out birding a short while. First at Camp
Dennison, not far from where I live, I added 3 Eastern Bluebirds (#101).
Just at dusk, I added Great Horned Owl (#102) along Route 131 north of
Milford.

No further birding for me for the rest of the month, as I was still
recovering for the lst four days of January.

If you haven't tried January Century Listing in Ohio, you should. It's
really a lot of fun.

Jay
