butter on it and a downy, sapsucker & brown creeper enjoying it.

Nice shot Carrie !  Crunchy peanut butter really does the trick.  I've been
priviledged to have a female come to peanut butter since Oct. 2005.  She was
a young adult then and now she's bringing a male with her a lot of the time.
I think I may have posted a pic here once before of the male begging to be
fed by her in March of 2006.  I thought it very strange behavior.  Here she
is with a few friends.........a Downy and a Brown Creeper !  Brown Creepers
are always special treets !  They're so hard to photograph.  Peanut butter
helps alot !  I was outside standing about 15' away from them for this shot.

  Finally got my photo program on the new computer so here is the promised
picture
  of the Yellow-bellied Sapsucker on the peanutbutter feeder.
  The yellow belly on the bird very evident, and the red on his head almost
a beacon.
