Hello to all
What a wonderful March day it was yesterday.
Seen at Hoover - various stops
Ring Necked Ducks - many, everywhere
American Coot - several, all stops
Bufflehead - few
Scaup - few
Grebe - Eared or Horned, I am not good enough yet to tell
Great Blue Heron - two
Eastern Phoebe - several
Hooded Merganser - several
Red-breasted Merganser - several
Cormorants - one large flock
Ruddy Duck - Male. no white on head. I did not know this was exceptional
until I checked my Sibleys today. The duck was at Oxbow.
and at Mud Hen Marsh the brightest blue Bluebird I have ever seen . He must
have gotten a new suit for Easter.
Joan
