Hi There Everyone,
Had a good hike today at the wetlands of Glacier Ridge Metro Park
today. Not much in the way of identifiable birds except a sighting
of a noisy Kildeer and an "audible" on a Northern Flicker at the edge
of the park towards Dublin-Jerome High School. The flicker was heard
repeatedly but still not able to get a visual on it. Happy to see
the water level back up to or higher than last April when I toured the
park for the first time. There were some unidentifiable sparrows
between the boardwalk and the shelter area. Hawks of any species
were noticeably absent. A white-tailed rabbit near the boardwalk
rounded out the rest of the sighted wildlife. There were about 500
of the ever- present Canadian Geese further north along Highland-Croy
Rd. All for now.. G
