Hi folks:
I spent my lunch hour at Greenlawn - figured I'd go and completely miss the
Merlin again, and I wasn't disappointed in that. No sign of the beast. I did
bump into a couple birders visiting from New York who told me they flushed a
woodcock at the Ravine (right before I got to the Ravine, of course). I
wasn't able to relocate the bird. I did have a Pine Siskin at the pit
feeders along with a Pine Warbler. I thought that a Pine Grosbeak would have
made a fine pine trifecta, but alas! Not this day. Other birds included two
Red-breasted Nuthatches along with the usual suspects.
