I have an almost-completed bluebird nest here in Clermont County. My pair
was inspecting the box March 1 and the female brought in the first bits of grass
Friday March 8, just before our big snowstorm. Yesterday in another box,
used last year first by Carolina chickadees and then by house wrens, I found a
mouse nest complete with two adult mice, whom I evicted. A third nest box has
been invaded by HOSP; insert trap will be deployed this weekend.
