A huge number of ducks in the harbor on Sat. morning (3/29) with R.B.
Mergansers the most abundant (500+ birds).
Other species well represented with multiple dozens of:
C. Goose, Hooded Merganser, R.N. Duck, Bufflehead, Scaup, C. Goldeneye & N.
Pintail.
Lesser numbers of:
Mallard, Gadwall, Am. Wigeon,  G.W.Teal, Wood Duck, Canvasback, C.Merganser
& Am. Coot.
Other highlights: G.B. Heron, Am. Kestrel, Cooper's Hawk, Herring & R.B.
Gulls.

On Sun. afternoon (3/30) I made a brief return visit to find only a
fraction of the ducks that were present on Saturday.
The only new arrivals were (1) Horned Grebe, (1) P.B. Grebe & several
Bonaparte's Gulls.
