As I passed the intersection of State Routes 17 and 2 going into
Huron about noon, I saw a kettle of 32 Turkey Vultures circling
overhead. Half an hour later, as I returned, the birds had moved to
directly over downtown Huron. That gave the ground speed of the group
of about 4 mph. I wonder how far each bird traveled with all of its
circling?
