Hi,

I had an enjoyable walk with my dog on the Black Swamp Bird Observatory
walking trail and the Magee W/A and Ottawa NWR partnership trail this
evening. I heard/seen at least four American Woodcock performing their
courtship aerial dances. I thought for sure they may have been hit hard by
the snowstorm last weekend. The snow is thawing so there are more early
spring migrants appearing everyday.

Enjoy early spring!
