Walt Duff called this evening to say he had seen his first Turkey Vulture 
of the year on South Bass Island. He marks the event on his calendar every 
year! Earlier than normal but not the earliest ever.
He also mentioned around 75 American crows heading northwest yesterday. I 
saw 47 in one large group heading northwest this afternoon as well.
