Several of the "ponds" along the walkway at Sheldon's Marsh had open
water today. In the ponds I found about
50+ Canada Geese
30 Mallards
25 Green-wing Teal
12 Northern Shovelers
3 Pintail

The shore ice still extends farther out into the lake than I could
reliable identify anything. There were adult and immature gulls and
some dark waterfowl bobbing around.

In addition, I've seen Turkey Vultures around the area.
