On Weaver Station-Fort Jefferson Road:
11 Wilson's snipe
13 ringbill gulls
4 N. shovelers
4 mallards
Robins
starlings
m. doves
kestrel
On Smith Road south of Stingley Road
6 Wilson's snipe
E. meadowlarks
horned larks
robins
Stump's Pond:
Can. geese
N. shovelers
bluewing teal
redwing bbirds.
Also on Easter Sunday on Kester-Byard Road and St. Rt. 47 east of Ansonia
3 greater yellowlegs
3 lesser yellowlegs
Also on Easter Sunday on my parents' farm pond north of Versailles:
3 canvasbacks
8 ringneck ducks
My brother also on March 29, 2008, saw a pileated woodpecker at my parents' farm.
