Thus morning the flood water at Caesar Creek seemed higher than ever. Along with hundreds of Coots there was a small number of ducks in the area which used to be the beach. There were:
12 Buffleheads
3 Blue-winged Teal
24 Lesser Scaup (there may have been a few Greater mixed in)
2 Killdeer
In the pond by the Observation Platform there was also a disapointing few:
2 Mallards
1 Pied-billed Grebe
Nearby:
1 Blue Bird
2 Red-shouldered Hawks
Soggy Day Cheers, Larry Gara
