While watching a kettle of 23 Black Vultures circling high over Lake Buckhorn, (coming in to roost), two Tree Swallows came by, eventually flying right over my head. This is my earliest record for Holmes County.

A pair of Red-shouldered Hawks called and circled over the lake - local birds. Flocks of mixed blackbirds were coming by, and as many of you have noted, there were Killdeer everywhere today.
