Traveled to Killdeer Plains on March 3 and had a great day.  Had a  total of
42 species: but no eagles and no owls!

Northern shrike (Pond '33' just east and north of Reservoir)
Hooded mergansers

Canada geese
Bluebirds
Bluejays
American goldfinches
Hairy woodpecker
Tufted titmice

Mourning doves
Ring-necked ducks

Field sparrow (singing)

Rough-legged hawk - 3 dark morph, 4 regs
