The storm brought in a couple new birds to my feeders and yard under
the feeders this morning. I had large numbers of Dark-eyed Juncos and
American Tree Sparrows, especially; also Song Sparrows, White-crowned
Sparrows, Red-winged Blackbirds (males only), Common Grackles (males
only), Brown-headed cowbirds (male and female), European Starlings,
House Sparrow, Mourning Dove, American Goldfinch, Black-capped
Chickadee, Tufted Titmouse. My first-time visitors were at least 2
Red-breasted Nuthatches and a Fox Sparrow. The Fox Sparrow sat in the
sunshine and I was able to get some photos out the window.
