Today at Noon at the SR224 bridge over Berlin Lake on the Mahoning-Portage County line there was lots of activity.
Here is a list of birds:
 
Canvasback   90+ males
Redhead   60+ males   20+ females
Common Merganser    16+ males
Red-breasted Merganser    30+ males
Lesser Scaup    18+ pair
Gadwall    2 pair
Bufflehead    8+ males   2+ females
Common Goldeneye    22+ males
Hooded Merganser    60+ pair
Pied-billed Grebe    1
Great Blue Heron    1
Red-headed Woodpecker    1
Northern Harrier     1 female
Crows    10+
Herring Gull    8+
Ring-billed Gull    200+
Canada Goose   2
 
At our home today in Damascus, Mahoning County we have already had 26 species. Highlights are:
 
Fox Sparrow    1 since Wednesday (Photos)
Rusty Blackbird    1
Red-breasted Nuthatch   1 daily
Carolina Wren    1 to 2 daily
