Greetings,

I was going to post to ohiobirds.org but it seems the site is down....
Today was the best backyard birding day I have ever had. Not only did I get
the most species in one day, but I also picked up two life birds!! The
lifers were Fox Sparrow and Rusty Blackbird. There were 3 Fox Sparrows and
2 Rusty Blackbirds and they were around for most of the day so I got a lot
of great looks and was able to compare with similar birds. Quite the banner
day for my little 20'X20' or so backyard!

Here's the list:

   1. Tufted Titmouse (2)
   2. European Starling (15)
   3. Fox Sparrow (3)
   4. Blue Jay (1)
   5. Cowbird
   6. Rusty Blackbird (2)
   7. Tree Sparrow (1)
   8. Grackle (3)
   9. American Robin (1)
   10. Cardinal (12)
   11. Dark-eyed Junco (17+)
   12. Song Sparrow (5)
   13. Eastern Towhee (4) (or is it rufous-sided, I forget what is
   current, sorry)
   14. Carolina Wren (2)
   15. White-throated Sparrow (5)
   16. Chickadee (3)
   17. Goldfinch (16)
   18. WB Nuthatch (1)
   19. Red-bellied Woodpecker (1)
   20. Mourning Dove (14)
   21. Downy Woodpecker (2)
   22. Red-winged blackbird (35+)
   23. House Finch (6)

Hope everyone else had a great day and enjoyed this wintery weather.
