The following birds were seen at my home in northwest Hocking County on
Saturday, March 8.
Mourning dove                                       European starling
Red-bellied woodpecker                        Pine warbler
Yellow-bellied sapsucker                       Northern cardinal
Downy woodpecker                              American tree sparrow
Hairy woodpecker                                 Fox sparrow
Northern flicker                                      Song sparrow
Blue jay                                                  Dark-eyed junco

Carolina chickadee                                 Red-winged blackbird
Tufted titmouse                                       Common grackle
Red-breasted nuthatch                            Brown-headed cowbird
White-breasted nuthatch                         Purple finch
Carolina wren                                         Pine siskin
American robin                                       American goldfinch

The first pine warbler arrived on Friday(March 7)which is the same date
as last year.
There was one fox sparrow on Friday and two on Saturday.
