I had a couple of hours to make a quick loop around part of the Scioto Trail State Forest this morning. I didn't have much time and didn't cover much ground, but spring is slowly progressing at that latitude. Pines, Yellow-thr Warblers, Louisianas, and B-g Gnatcatchers, were all widespread and present everywhere you'd expect them to be. Several Broad-winged Hawks were conspicuous, and single individuals of White-eyed Vireo, Blue-winged Warbler, N Parula, Am. Redstart, and Ovenbird were noted.
