We went for a walk after supper but only saw 2 deer and a goose on her nest with 4 eggs. I went to some ponds in Lake County today around 11:30AM and had: 2 lesser yellow-legs, 4 snipe, 3 Buffleheads and best of all a dozen green-winged teal ( 7 were bright males ). I did a quick run to headlands around 1PM. I had 5 species of sparrows and some winter wrens. I saw my first white-throats this spring. Just nice to be out.

Sally Isacco, Chardon
