Nadya Bennett and I scouted Scioto Trail SP yesterday (Thursday)

We started off at the Fire Tower (FT), moved on to the North Ridge area (NR) and then hiked most of the Buckeye Trail (BT). We ended with a drive to Caldwell Lake (CL). The following is a list of highlights with the usual suspects left off.

Pine Warblers (3+ at FT and one or two other locations)
Chipping Sparrows (20 all locations)
Eastern Phoebes (10 all locations)
YB Sapsuckers (6 most locations)
Blue Gray Gnatcatchers (3 BT)
Pileated WP (10 at all locations and in pairs)
E. Towhee (many 50+ males and females at all locations)
Un-identified warbler (possibly YT Warbler b/c of location among Sycamores
within the BT)
Beautiful Louisiana Waterthrush (two pairs - 4 on the BT)
Wood Duck pair (Stewart Lake)
Kingfisher (CL)
Tree Swallows (CL)
Thrushes heard at all locations but couldn't find them
