I had a rough day at work so I decided to unwind by stopping at Antrim
Park on the way home. I saw quite a few interesting things.

Red-Winged Blackbirds (the females were really flirting with the males)
Blue Jays (I saw two of them carrying nesting material)
American Robins
Red-Tailed Hawk
Grackles
Canada Geese
Mallards (many males but only one female-is absence of females a breeding
evidence code?)
Buffleheads
Lesser Scaups
Ruddy Ducks
Hooded Mergansers
Horned Grebe
Common Loon
Tree Swallows
Goldfinches
Hairy Woodpeckers (one was drumming)
Downy Woodpeckers (the male and female together)
Red-Bellied Woodpecker
Northern Cardinals (male and female together)
Turkey Vulture
Belted Kingfisher
Song Sparrows
