Greetings---I found 60+ species in eastern Mahoning Co. this morning, with only moderate effort.  A couple of purple finches are visiting my feeder in Poland Twp.  Poland Municipal Forest had y-b sapsucker, pileated woodpecker, both kinglets, hermit thrush, fox & white-throated sparrows.  There are still some waterfowl at Evans L. and Pine L., including:  Am. wigeon, n. shovelers, green-winged teal, lesser scaup, hooded & r-b mergansers, ruddy ducks, c. loons, p-b grebes, d-c cormorants, and Am. coots.  N. rough-winged swallows and swamp sparrows have returned there.  The bald eagle nest at the south end of Pine L. had both adults present.  Another bald eagle (imm.) was at Mill Creek WS.  E. bluebirds were conspicuous today.  Later, Craig
