New for my yard and a treat anytime, anywhere, today 2 male Purple
Finches are intermittent guests. A male Red-breasted Nuthatch remains
today, enjoying peanut pieces. A Chipping Sparrow was a first-of-spring
yard bird yesterday, 2 White-throated Sparrows today (both brown & white
morphs), and a male and female Yellow-bellied Sapsucker have been around
for 3 days.

birds he would have done better to preach to the cats." -- Rebecca West
