A lunchtime excursion today to Erie Street Cemetery was quieter than I expected. The previous evening's southerly winds seemed to bring no new birds into the Cemetery from late last week. A few of the sparrow species seem to have hung on and there are now at least three Brown Thrashers. Perhaps there will be some turnover tonight. Here is the list:

Dark-eyed Junco ~10
Song Sparrow ~6
Field Sparrow 2
Swamp Sparrow 1
Savannah Sparrow 1
Chipping Sparrow 1

Northern Flickers ~6
Ruby-crowned Kinglet ~4
Hermit Thrush ~6
Brown Thrasher 3
Common Grackle 1
Mourning Dove 1
American Robin 8-10
European Starling 6-8

Good birding.
