Willis Brubacher was at Conneaut today (Sat) until 1:30 or 2:00 pm. He counted 755 Broadwings and 129 Sharp-shinned Hawks, along with 6 Ospreys and a number of other raptors. It would be nice to know how many more BWs passed over Conneaut after 2 pm...

At Ripley, New York, just across the border from Erie, Penn., the Ripley full-time hawk watch site had 2600 Broad-wings.

Local birders in Holmes and Tuscarawas Counties had up to 100+ Broadwings at one location today.
