APRIL 21, 2008 - Hike the Cuyahoga Valley Line R.R. tracks north to Sand Run Metro Park's maintenance yard to Mingo Trail to Fernwood Loop into F.A. Seiberling Nature Realm to Cherry Lane Trail to Seneca Trail, cross Smith Rd. & follow gas well access road through the woods to the high-tension line clearcut down to Riverview Rd., south under the sewer trunk line to the Towpath Trail to Bruegger's Bagels parking lot, cross Merriman Rd. back to the Cuyahoga Valley Line R.R. tracks & home.
TIME: 5:30pm-7:30pm TEMP.: 70-67 COND.: Mostly cloudy, warm & calm.
FT.MI.: 2.0 OBS.: Douglas W. Vogus.

1. Eastern Chipmunk - 5
2. Eastern Gray Squirrel - 5

4. Eastern Cottontail - 2

II. BIRDS: 35 SPECIES.

4. Red-tailed Hawk - 2 (1 on Smith Rd. nest; 1 soaring immature)
