Common Moorhens were seen late this afternoon from 5:30 to 6:30 at their traditional Columbiana County locations. The locations are at Franklin Square west of Lisbon Road on the south side of the Greenway Trail; and also at Tritten's Pond area south of Sell Road east of Guilford Lake marsh ( At least 3 pairs each of the past two years have nested here and had young!)   Note; The Franklin Square location also has had confirmed nesting of Pied-biied Grebe.
