Birded Greenlawn in Columbus this evening. I met up with several members
of the Columbus Audubon who were filling the feeders. They told me they
had just seen a RBNH just before I got there at 5:20PM. Others of
interest were a Great Horned Owlet in the Pine tree north of the nest tree
in area M. Also a flock of yellow rumps and a Hermit thush at the Pit.

I also wanted to put in another plug for eBird, the Cornell University
website for posting and managing your lists both current and historical.
So far for in Ohio this month there have been 1403 lists posted. Still
after reviewing the data for the last several yrs there are many areas in
Ohio that, like the OBBA, are poorly covered. (And yse Aaron, I will be
posting Data to the OBBA this yr!). So if you have not joined, please
do. You will get better organized and will also contribute all your birds
to the North American Database. The mapping tool is a great way to
identify and get a "Bidseye" view of your favorite birding areas.

Here is the site: http://ebird.org/content/ebird/

Thanks, Phillip North
