Hi all:

After last night's thunderstorm, I figured I'd get up a little early and
take the dog for a walk through Walhalla Ravine in Clintonville to see if
anything interesting has shown up. I walk the dog through here normally in
the afternoons after work, and there hasn't been much around at that time
except for residents. Well, today I actually had warblers for the first time
since moving to the neighborhood. A Black-throated Green Warbler was singing
near the intersection of Walhalla and Brynhild road, and a Yellow-throated
Warbler was singing in a sycamore tree above the ravine just south of the
intersection of Midgard and Brynhild. I also had a Veery near the
Black-throated Green Warbler and a single Ruby-crowned Kinglet as well.

Good birding,

Andy Sewell
