Greetings---still plenty of waterfowl passing through Mahoning Co. I tallied 19 species of ducks yesterday, including a hen white-winged scoter and 4 greater scaup at L. Milton. There was also an osprey there. Other expected migrants/arrivals are just now tricklng into Mahoning Co: blue-winged teal, n. flicker, tree swallow, e. towhee, chipping sparrow, field sparrow, savannah sparrow. Still no phoebes. I can't ever remember fewer killdeers present in April than I'm seeing now. At least song sparrows are numerous. Later, Craig
