Hi Birders,
I birded with my brother Greg at John Bryan
State Park (near Clifton) this morning and
we had a nice collection of neotropical migrants,
including many first-of-season birds. Partial
list below:
Ovenbird
Black-throated Green Warbler
Louisiana Waterthrush
Hooded Warbler
Yellow-throated Warbler
Blackburnian Warbler
Summer Tanager
Bobolink (apparently disoriented in the fog and mist)
Great-crested Flycatcher
Red-shouldered Hawk
Purple Finch--5+ birds, including 1 in full song
good birding
Tim Spahr
Fairborn
