Hi all,
This afternoon (Saturday) I had a Summer Tanager at Rocky River in Cuyahoga County behind the Nature Center. It was a young male with a mix of red and yellow feathers. It worked briefly through the area - mostly along the large ridge - and then disappeared.
If I remember correctly there was a Summer Tanager found at Rocky River last spring as well. Not a bad bird for this far north.
Good Birding,
Phil Chaon
