I followed Phil Ware's directions and found the Prairie Warblers near the observation tower at Caesarcreek Lake.  When I arrived around 9:30 AM, there were multiple warblers singing from the tops of small trees, as well as Blue-winged Warblers and Wood Thrushes singing from open perches.  I was unable to relocate the Dickcissels.

  At SVWA, the Red-headed Woodpecker was easy to find in a dead tree near the Pileated nest, since two Downy Woodpeckers were making a lot of noise as they harrassed him.  We observed the same behavior in the same tree on Saturday afternoon.  I spoke to someone who had found a Cape May Warbler at the north end of the bike path, but I did not see it myself.

  When I got home, I learned that my husband had observed our first Ruby-throated Hummingbird of the season at the feeder.
