Greetings---I can't add much to Mike Busam's excellent post about The Ohio Cardinal. Rob Harlan's comments in the coming Fall 2007 issue are also well worth reading. It is good to see this thread finally come to light. I believe Ohio will continue to have a first-rate journal of ornithological record, and that is more important than ever as the Earth's climate and habitats continue to change. Internet birding certainly has it's good and not-so-good aspects, but the significance of a printed, permanent statewide journal cannot be underestimated in my opinion. So much thanks to all, past and future, who work(ed) to make The Ohio Cardinal a reality. Later, Craig
