This has been a great week for my first Spring in my
new home near I-70 and 161. On March 30 a fox sparrow
was foraging for sunflower seeds under the front yard
feeder along side a giant rabbit; on
April 1 I saw my first chipping sparrow of the season;
and this morning (April 6) the front lawn sported a
pair of mallards! No, I don't have a pond, and the
bird bath is in the back yard. Go figure.
  Good birding!  Pam

I get up. I walk. I fall down. Meanwhile, I keep dancing. --Rabbi Hillel
