My sister is having surgery today but I had an hr to spare from 10:30AM- 11:30AM.  My first time there this spring and I wasn't disappointed.  At first I kept looking for wagtails and wheatear's having just returned from Morocco.  Then I shook my head and started listening.  Towhees calling and fox sparrows digging in the underbrush!  Yes,  spring is here.  Not to mention,  I still have 3 common redpolls coming to our feeders in Chardon.  The following are the highlights of what I had for the short hour I was there:

Tree creeper- 2
YB Sapsucker- 1
Song sparrows- many ( the most abundant )
Winter wrens- 3
Golden crown kinglet-1
Ruby crown kinglet- 1
Thrashers- 3
Fox sparrows- 7 ( I had heard they were back in good numbers )
Phoebes- 4
RBMergs- 14 flybys
RSTowhees-3
