Hello OHbirders,
I made a quick run through Killdeer today with Jason Krnc and had the
following highlights:
Black Tern- 4, 3 very close birds (3m, at times) at pond at Twp Hwy
108 and 71, 1 at ponds along Township Rd 68/Wyandot Marion Rd.
Lesser Scaup- 1, Twp Hwy 108 and 71
Dunlin~ 110, Twp Hwy 108 and 71
Solitary Sandpiper- 1
Spotted Sandpiper- 1
Bank Swallow- lots, everywhere
There was a lot of great looking shorebird habitat, but very few
shorebirds, with only a single spot producing. I was also at Magee
today, where I found my life Olive-sided Flycatcher, which I'm pretty
ecstatic about!
Good birding,
Sean
