Highlights from Headlands and a couple of CVNP sites this morning:
Headlands - Many blackpoll warblers, a few magnolias, one each Wilson's, black-throated blue, and mourning. A good-sized flock of cedar waxwings. A singing white-throated sparrow.
CVNP Oak Hill - White-eyed vireo, alder flycatcher.
CVNP Colosseum site - At least 15 male bobolinks, maybe 5-10 females. A few eastern meadowlarks. Willow flycatcher (along the eastern edge). One each Henslow's and savannah sparrows.
Cheers,
Craig Caldwell, Westlake
