I took a leisurely walk at Spring Valley after work today. I ended up
with 55 species. Here is a partial list.



Woodpeckers: Downy, Hairy, Red-bellied, Flicker, and Pileated



Vireos: Yellow-throated, Warbling, White-eyed



Warblers: Nashville, Parula, Yellow, Yellow-rumped, Palm, Prothonotary,
Common Yellowthroat, Chat



Sparrows: White-throated, Song, Swamp, Chipping



Blackbirds/Orioles: Red-winged, Cowbird, Grackle, Baltimore, Orchard



Shorebirds: Killdeer, Spotted Sandpiper



Swallows: Tree, Bank, Barn, Rough-winged



Both vultures, Great Blue Heron, Wood Duck, Crow (with no tail
feathers),
