Fellow birders,
Spotted a Cape May warbler in the yard this afternoon for the 17TH
WARBLER OF THE YEAR ON THE PROPERTY. Not bad for May 1st, especially given
that the 16th was a CERULEAN WARBLER seen about an hour before, spoted by
Vicki Derr singing outside her window. The "property" is 60 wooded acres,
so it may be stretching things to call it a yard, but these are all "yard"
birds as far as I'm concerned- 32 life yard warblers and 159 life yard
birds ... and counting.
