About 4:15 Saturday afternoon, I observed a glaucous gull on the center dike between Findlay Reservoirs #1 and #2, in Hancock County. It appeared to be a second or third year immature (I'm guessing third), and was associating with a flock of about 40 or 50 second year ring-billed gulls. The bird was quite tame and unconcerned about my presence; I casually walked up to about 15 feet from the bird and watched it untill it took off and landed about 50 feet away.
Also present were four Black Terns flying around.
