It was a lovely morning at the OSU Research Wetland today.  We saw and/or heard the following:

Canada Goose
Wood Duck
Mallard
Great Blue Heron
Great Egret
Red-tailed Hawk
Killdeer
Mourning Dove
Chimney Swift
Belted Kingfisher
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Downy Woodpecker
Eastern Wood-pewee
Least Flycatcher
Great Crested Flycather
Red-eyed Vireo
American Crow
Tree Swallow
Northern Rough-Winged Swallow
Carolina Chickadee
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
American Robin
Gray Catbird
European Starling
Yellow Warbler
Chestnut-sided Warbler
Song Sparrow
Northern Cardinal
Red-winged Blackbird
Baltimore Oriole
American Goldfinch

We saw two female Wood Ducks with young in tow, lots of turtles (some as large as a dinner plate), and a raccoon taking a nap in a large tree cavity.
