There were decent numbers of shorebirds at Big Island and the area
today (1000-1800). I didn't hear any King Rails, though I was only
there in the middle of the day. Here's the list:

Killdeer- everywhere
Semipalmated Plover- 44
Black-bellied Plover- 1
Spotted Sandpiper- lots
Solitary Sandpiper- 1
Lesser Yellowlegs- 1
Semipalmated Sandpiper- 22
Least Sandpiper- 8
White-rumped Sandpiper- 4
Pectoral Sandpiper- 1
Dunlin- 3

Non-shorebirds:

American Bittern
Sora- 1
Common Moorhen- 4
Black Tern- 3
