Sharon and I spent two hours in Northmoor and Whetstone Parks on Sunday morning.  These two parks adjoin each other, with Northmoor, despite its name, being the southerly of the two (there's also no moor).  We started at the southern property line and worked through the woods, riverside and paririe, finishing in the ravine just south of the Park of Roses and then exiting by the library.  Here is our list:

We saw an American Crow just before entering Northmoor but we did not see one while in the parks.  We were pretty sure that we heard some Canada Geese and a Blue Jay while in the parks, but not sure enough to put them on the list with confidence.

As was the case on Saturday at the OSU Research Wetland, we also saw a raccoon sleeping up in a tree.  Three days earlier, on Thursday night, we saw a Wood Thrush and also heard a Barred Owl in the ravine, but they were not active during our morning visit to the same area on Sunday morning.
