Unfortunately I didn't get to see the phalaropes.  I did get to see the 
black-necked stilts though.  They were in a wet area on the north side of 
95 just west of Herr Rd.  Lots of bald eagles too.  One of them was 
sitting on the far side of the pond on the east side of Herr Rd.  Farther 
west on 95, there was a huge flock of spotted sandpipers.  
Red-Winged Blackbirds, great blue herons, and Killdeer abounded.  Also 
seen eastern meadowlark, common yellowthroat, great white egret, pie-
billed grebe, American wigeon, wood duck, trumpeter swans.  Of course 
there were plenty of mallards and Canada geese.
