Today was pretty amazing with numerous waterbirds and songbirds moving along
the lake. The most amazing sighting were a group of 46 BRANT moving slowly
to the west. Also of interest were the shorebirds. I had 77 WHIMBREL (3
flocks of 23,38, and 17 birds), and 1 WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPER amongst a group
of dunlin. Fantastic variety for this late in the season.
