Sorry to report that the beautiful Laughing Gull which was on the Caesar Creek beach was nowhere in sight this morning. Of course it could still be around but an hour of searching had no result. There were 5 Herring Gulls, a Dunlin that put in a very brief
appearance and a tern which left before I could ID it. My initial stab says it was a
Forsters but I am not certain of that.
