I have several bird feeders set up every day and Common Grackles come to
them and seem to eat sunflower seeds. And if I throw out left over
bread, they eat that. But this just started happening. I feed a couple
of wild cats every day by putting out cat food. I have to put out the
cat food during the day to avoid raccoons coming in. Now the Common
Grackles are eating the cat food. I'll check on the ingredients of the
cat food and make sure that is OK for the grackles.
